Age 90, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2021 at her home in Gainesville GA, formerly of Frankfort for many years. Born November 8, 1930 to the late Charles and Nellie (Hare) Hawley. Beloved wife of the late Harry L. Engledow; Loving mother of Steve (Sherry) and Doug (Pamela); fond sister of her late siblings of Mary Richardville, Edward Hawley, Thomas Hawley, Herschel Hawley, Beulah Doan, Bertha Ruhrschneck, Charles Hawley, George Hawley ( all her brothers served in the military and
during war time) ; Dear grandmother of Andrew, Scott (Jess) and Dr. Kevin (Dr. Valentina Godoy). Step Grandchildren Chris Livingston, Ryan Livingston, Kyle Livingston Betty worked for 30 years as a receptionist for Hedges Clinic in Frankfort. She was a member of Frankfort Methodist and the Frankfort Car Club. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423, on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 9:00AM until time of service at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
