Age 71 of Frankfort, formerly of Lansing, passed away Tuesday, March 21st, 2023 at her home.

Beverly is survived by her loving family, children, Michael (Michele) Shew, Michelle Shew, Jeffrey Deichen, Jodi (Michael) Gibson, siblings, Raymond (Monique) VanVuren, Marilyn (Jim) Slager, Lois (Lyle) Kamminga, Dale VanVuren, sister in-law, Laurel VanVuren, grandchildren, Brandon Shew, Tanya (David) Bappert, Jacob Shew, Erin Shew, Allison Shew, Samantha (Jacob) Waldmarson, Jacob Gibson, Carly Gibson, Rylan Deichen, Ricky White and two great grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Allen & Frances VanVuren (Porte), husband, Richard Shew and brother David VanVuren.

Beverly was a graduate of Illiana Christian High School Class of 1969. She was a member of Faith Church in Dyer IN and retired from Chicago Extruded Metals Company in Cicero after 30+ years of service. Beverly was a nature lover who greatly enjoyed gardening, beekeeping and walking along the shores of lakes and oceans looking for nature’s treasures.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, April 1st, 2023 from 3:00 PM until time of funeral service at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private.
