Beverly A. Zimmerman

Beverly A. Zimmerman (nee Boles) age 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Palos Hospital. 

Beverly is survived by her beloved daughters, Barbara (Michael) Bronkala, Christine (Kenny Youngren) Aguirre, and Patricia (David) Zbonski; grandchildren, Michael (JoAnna) Bronkala, Sean (Mary) Aguirre, Kyle Bronkala, Adam Aguirre, Abby Aguirre, Brandon (Sam) Youngren, Samantha (Ian) Lynch, and Abigayle Youngren; great grandchildren, Dean Ziggy Bronkala, Emilia Lynch, and Kanan Youngren; her siblings, Martha (James) Pulver and Elizabeth (late Donald) Penn; and numerous cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dean Zimmerman; parents, Fred and Martha Boles; and her siblings, Fred (Juanita), Marlene (David), Robert (Carol), Thomas, Margaret (Charlie) and Alice (Bill). 

Beverly will be remembered for her love of word searches and game shows. When she could she found great joy in volunteering at her church St. Paul Lutheran Church in Matteson. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She had many “Bevisms” that made us laugh out loud. She was a sweet woman and will be missed by all that knew her. 

Services for Beverly will begin on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 with a visitation at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, in Frankfort from 4pm-8pm. Services will continue the following day, Thursday, August 29, 2024 with a brief visitation at the funeral home from 9am-10am. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 6201 Vollmer Rd in Matteson, at 10:30am. Beverly will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Alsip.
