BRIAN C. LIEBENSTEIN
Brian Charles Liebenstein died on November 11, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. after a long fight with multiple myeloma cancer. He was born in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Brian attended Port Washington High School and college at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. He was married to Debbie Liebenstein in 1981 and lived in Long Beach California, Huntsville Alabama, and then settled in Rockford, Illinois. They were married for 24 years and four kids Melissa, Curtis, Aimee, and Dana. Brian was an Engineer and worked for McDonald Douglas, Sunstrand, Camcar, Beloit Corporation, and Eclipse. His passions in life were flying and mechanical objects. Hang gliding was specifically his favorite. Brian's favorite song was Lady by Styx and enjoyed The Three Stooges and Halloween the series movies. Brian's personality was humors, strong, and carefree. God and family were his primary focus in life. Brian was currently in a relationship with Sheila Smullen and resided in Lockport, Illinois. Brian is loved and will be missed by his family and friends.
Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441, Saturday, November 16th, 2013 from 2:00 PM until time of funeral service at 7:00 PM.
