Age 83, of Frankfort formerly of Country Club Hills and Frankfort, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice House. Loving wife of the late Richard L. Scanlan Sr.; beloved daughter of the late Charles and Mildred (Somora) Dalton; dearest mother of Richard (Donna) Scanlan, Jr., Susan Haseman, Jeffrey (Cathy) Scanlan, John Scanlan and Janis (Jamie) Sarna; dearest sister of Charles Dalton, Jackie Kulerski, Emily Johnson, late Patricia Swenson, Jerome Dalton and the late Joanne Barrett; fond sister-in-law of Harriet Scanlan; cherished grandmother of Sarah, Thomas (Holly), Heather, Holly, Samantha (Nick), Tony, Beckie and Kerry; proud great grandmother of Casey, Mikey, Thomas, Nathan, Joey, Eli, Riley, June Ben, Teddy and Thomas. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423, Tuesday February 18, 2020. 3-9 PM. Funeral service Wednesday, February 19, 2020 prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:30AM leaving for St. Anthony Catholic Church, Frankfort for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
