Catherine “Cathy” E. Grant (Stemple)
Age 75, a resident of Monee, formerly of Sauk Village, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox. She is survived by her loving family; children Mary (John) Maze, Teresa “Terry” (Gene) Sipola and Brian Grant; siblings Mary Emily Grant, John (Nancy) Stemple and George (Sharon) Stemple; grandchildren Curtis, Abigail, Amanda, Benjamin, Mason, Sierra and Donna she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Gayle Grant and her parents Emil and Mary (Blount) Stemple. Cathy was a bus driver for Kickert in Lynwood for 13 years and part time Special Ed bus aide for Peotone. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, Frankfort on Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 5:00 PM , with a funeral service at 5:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. The family will meet at Green Garden Cemetery on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of Flowers memorial donations to American Pancreatic Association www.american-pancreatic-assocaiton.org Social distancing and masks are MANDATORY for ALL in attendance. No food allowed in the funeral home.
