“Chuck”

Age 65 of Elwood passed away at 5:14 am on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Lightways Hospice in Joliet, IL. Chuck was born in Chicago Heights, IL to the late Duane Dionne and the late Geraldine (nee Siebert) (late Ernest) Woolsey.

Loving father of Kellie (Tony) Brooks, Edward (Liz) Dionne, Matthew (fiancée Brittany Perna) Dionne, Colleen (Christian) Castro, and Joseph Dionne; cherished grandfather of Grace, Talon, Jackson, and Chente; dear brother of Fara (late John) Jordan, Nila Dionne, Michael (Dora Haynes) Dionne; loved uncle, cousin, and friend of many. Chuck is also survived by his daughter-like, devoted caregiver Lydia (John) Chavez.

Chuck was employed as a glassmaker for 36 years. He was a “jack of all trades” and could fix about anything. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. Chuck was also a very social person and loved spending time with family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 12:00pm until time of prayers at 3:00pm.
