78, late of New Lenox, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Loyola Hospital, Maywood. Born in Chicago to the late Charles L. and Frances (nee Pooler) Sherwood. Loving husband of Ruth (nee VanKampen); Loving father of Linda "Lindy", Charles Scott, Douglas and Russell "Rusty" Sherwood; Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends for a Memorial Visitation at New Life Church in New Lenox on Monday, March 31, 2014 from 4:00PM until time of Memorial Service at 7:00PM. Memorials to New Life Church would be appreciated.
