Charlotte Ruth Anderson (nee Ediger)

Age 85 of Watertown, SD and Homer Glen, IL passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Lightways Hospice, Joliet, IL surrounded by her loving family. Charlotte was born in Spencer, SD to the late Robert and Edith (nee Stanton) Ediger. Beloved wife of the late Merrill E. Anderson; loving mother of Brenda (Perry) Krestel, John Anderson, Tim Anderson, and Steven (Rachel) Anderson; cherished grandmother of Samantha (Paul) Sperli, Jennifer (Reid) Schmidt, Amy (Joseph) Cacchione, Joseph (Gianna) Krestel, Jessica Anderson, Zamantha Anderson, Payton Anderson, Mason Anderson, and Gabrielle Anderson; proud “Gigi” of 8; dear sister of (siblings and spouses, living or deceased); loved aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Charlotte worked at the Social Security office for many years until she retired. She was a member of Wesleyan Methodist Church, Watertown, SD. Charlotte will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held at Chicago 1st Church of the Nazarene 12725 Bell Rd. Lemont, IL on SundayJuly 28, 2024 with visitation from 2:00 pm until time of Service at 2:30 pm.  Charlotte will be laid to rest with her husband Merrill at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL
