CHESTER F. HANKOSKY
Age 93 of Frankfort, passed away on Monday, September 25th, 2017 at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights.
Chester is survived by his loving family, wife, Josephine Hankosky (Dunaj), children, Diane (Mike) Nowakowski, Michael (Diane) Hankosky, Glenn (Eileen) Hankosky, siblings, Dorothy Stauber, Lucy (Richard) Zaremba, grandchildren, Stephanie (Jerry) Cooke, Matthew (Nicole) Hankosky, Mary (Clay) Kovac, Melanie (Matthew) Wood, Michael (Kylie) Hankosky, Christy Nowakowski, Steven Nowakowski, Kyle Hankosky, great grandchildren, Landon, Addison, Kennedy, Emilia, Mabry, Clayton and several nieces and nephews.
Chester was preceded in death by his parents, Michael & Stephanie Hankosky (Wajcowicz) and brother-in-law, Joseph Stauber.
Chester was a WWII United States Army Veteran; recipient of two Bronze Stars and a member of the American Legion in New Lenox Post #1977. He retired from Electromotive after 38 years of service. Chester was a longtime supporter of Polka music and greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at his summer home in Crivitz Wisconsin.
Family will receive friends at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 17500 84th Avenue, Tinley Park, IL 60487 on Monday, October 2nd, 2017 from 10:30 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
