Age 74, a current resident of Sarasota Florida, longtime of New Lenox passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012. He is survived by his loving family; son Jason Misischia; three grandchildren Emelia, Isabelle and Martin Misischia; brother Dr. William (Mary) Misischia; Sister Sandy Johnson and his loving companion Joanne McKenney. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Misischia; parents Dr. Cosmo and G. Louise Misischia; son Matthew Misischia and Sister Marlyn Boksi. Cosmo was a veteran of The United States Marine Corps; he owned and operated Tri-Star Cabinets, a former member of St. Joseph Church in Manhattan and a current member of St. Jude Church in New Lenox. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox IL 60451 on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 11:00am until time of funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1:00pm. Interment will follow to Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Vitas Hospice would be appreciated.
