Daniel B. Johnson

Age 80, of the Mt. Greenwood area passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012.

Loving father of Deb (late Ed) Woolever, Michael (Renee) Johnson, Daniel P. (Tracy) Johnson and Karyn (Dennis) Morrison; dearest brother of Ruth Bowen and the late Lenny Johnson; cherished grandfather of 15 and proud great grandfather of 3 and also many nieces and nephews.

Daniel was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Korea 101 Airborne and was awarded the purple heart. A retiree of the City of Chicago Forestry, and was very active as a coach for the Mt. Greenwood Youth Organization baseball and football programs and a White Sox fan.

A memorial visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 4:00pm until time of memorial service at 8:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment private.
