77, late of New Lenox, formerly of Chicago passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox. Born in Chicago to the late John And Violet (nee Myszkiewkz) Maslowski; Beloved Husband of Shirley (nee Lager); Loving Father of Daniel (the late Donna), Cathy (the late Leon) Boyes, Carolyn (Richard) Kipp and Cindy (Kevin) Heraty; Cherished Grandfather of Ashley, Stephanie, Andrew, Victoria, Nicole, Brett, Kendall and Casey; Great Grandfather of Daniel; Dear Brother of Joanne Uhlarik and a brother and sister who preceded him in death. Daniel was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired Chicago Firefighter after 35 years of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to www.pancan.org would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 2 - 9PM. Funeral Service Friday with 9:30AM prayers at the funeral home to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Interment private.
