61, of Orland Park, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox. Born in Evergreen Park to Anna Mae (nee Rowe) and the late John Costa. Beloved husband of Nadine (nee Alles), Loving father of Shannon (Steve) Mejdrich, Dear grandfather of Brooke and Corryn Mejdrich, brother of Jack Costa, Art Costa and Rosemary Kuhns, also survived by several bothers in law, sisters in law and numerous nieces and nephews. David was a U.S. Army Veteran. He retired from Frito Lay after 35 years of service, and enjoyed his retirement working part-time driving a bus for Homer Elementary School District and bartending at Little Joes Restaurant in New Lenox. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox IL 60451 on Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 3–9PM. Funeral service Friday, August 17, 2012 with prayers at 9:30AM to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Interment Fairmount Willow Hills Cemetery, Willow Springs, IL.
