Dawn M. Shields

Age 63, of Frankfort passed away Wednesday, June 26th, 2024 at her home in Frankfort. 

Dawn is survived by her loving family, the love of her life, Paul DiCosola, mother, Leigh Shields (Callahan), siblings, Suzanne (Shaun) Reynolds, Michael (Carole) Shields, surrogate mom & aunt of Daniel (Sandy) Mason, Julie (Glen Pahnke) Mason, Michael Mason, additional niece and nephew, Jordan Shields, Tiffany Shields, great aunt to Mary Jane Pahnke, Lois Pahnke, Dominic Zavala, Violet Dawn Mason and loving cat mom of Jezebel, Luna and Endora. 

Dawn was preceded in death by her father, Terrence Shields.

Dawn was a retired legal secretary and formerly employed by Kirkland & Ellis, Robin, Curley & Clayton and Wood, Luksinger & Epstein. She loved camping, animals and spending time with her family and friends. 

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, July 13th. 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a time of sharing at 5:00 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
