DENNIS R. MICHALAK

Age 80, passed away Wednesday, February 28^th, 2024 at Lake Forest Memorial Hospital.                   

Dennis is survived by his loving family, children, Cheryl (James) Schmidt, Charlene (Anthony) Nelson, Jeffrey Michalak, Katelynn Fischler, grandchildren, Kristin Schmidt, Kara Schmidt, Jodi Schmidt, James Schmidt III, Taylor Nelson, Zachary Nelson, Caden Nelson, Mason Fischler and great grandson Liam Nelson-Peterson.   

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Charlotte Michalak (Wlodarczyk), first wife, Mary Michalak (Plefka), second wife, Karen Michalak (Wegener) and brother Charles Michalak.

Dennis was the former owner of Clifton Village Inn in Clifton.       

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Monday, March 4^th, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM.  Funeral service, Tuesday, March 5^th, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.  Interment, Clifton Cemetery, Clifton IL.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
