Age 81, of Lemont, passed away on Thursday, February 6th, 2020 at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights.
Diane is survived by her loving family, husband, Jerrald Duane Bucksath, children, Mark (Maureen) Bucksath, Lisa (John) Eckenstein, sister, Melinda Eubanks, grandchildren, John Eckenstein and Emma Eckenstein.

Diane was a preceded in death by her parents, Navy Captain Allen & Frances McInturff (Bohannon).

Diane was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; she met her husband Duane while attending the University of Missouri where she was the Homecoming Queen in 1957. Diane was a supportive military wife for 7 years, before settling and raising a family in Illinois.
She was a talented artist and a loving soul who will be greatly missed.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Sunday, February 16th, 2020 from 3:00 PM until time of the Memorial Service at 5:00 PM. Interment will be private at a later date at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the United Methodist Church of New Lenox would be greatly appreciated.
