DINAH J. MALLOY (MOBUS)

Age 81, passed away Sunday, April 13th, 2025 at Alden of Shorewood in Shorewood.

Dinah is survived by her loving family, children, Jennifer (Christopher) Davis, Dan (Allison Dehm) Malloy, Matt (Christina Tribbia) Malloy, grandchildren, Nate (Taylor Anderson) Davis, Josh Davis, Winston Malloy, siblings, Carol Miller, Robert (Barbara) Mobus, Linda Gaines and Rodney (Maureen) Mobus.

Dinah was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Ruth Mobus (Martin), husband, Daniel Malloy and brother in-law John Miller.

Dinah retired from District #161 where she worked as a classroom and computer teacher for many years. She was a former member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Frankfort and current member of St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox. Dinah was also an active member of W.O.W.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Monday, April 21st, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 W. 2nd Avenue, New Lenox, IL 60451 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment, Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Frankfort, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association would be greatly appreciated.
