Dinesh N. Kapadia, age 75, formerly of Frankfort, passed away on October 14, 2015, in Kissimmee, Florida. Beloved husband of Sandra Anne (nee Jasudowicz); cherished father of Geeta (Shreeyash) Palshikar and Anita Kapadia; loving Papa of Madison Keller, Elizabeth Keller, James Keller, Anand Palshikar and Zara Palshikar; dear brother of Niranjan (Sonal) Kapadia and Leena (late Virendra) Shah; fond brother-in-law of Paul (Susan) Jasudowicz, Sr.; and loving cousin of many. He was beloved "Uncle Dino" or "Dinomama" to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Navinchand and Sushila (nee Jetha) Kapadia; his sisters, Pramoda (Nirmal) Dalal and Bharti (Virendra) Shah; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raymond, Sr. and Anne Jasudowicz; and his brother-in-law Raymond (late Dolores) Jasudowicz, Jr. He was born in Bombay, India and studied at St. Xavier's University in Bombay. In 1962, he immigrated to the United States to study for his master's degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. A lifelong innovator and educator, Dino was a pioneer in the fields of banking, treasury, and telemedicine and was most recently a tutor to Frankfort-area students and inventor of the Drutter. Dino will be remembered by all who knew him as a kind, gentle and caring man who always saw the good in others.
The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Frankfort, IL with internment at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery in Orland Park, IL.
