Dolores A. Mott (nee Sokolowski)

Age 81 of New Lenox, IL, formerly of Homewood, IL, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Lightways Hospice, Joliet, IL. Dolores was born in Chicago, IL to the late Leo and Anne (nee Gorski) Sokolowski. Beloved wife of Richard J. Mott; loving mother of Michelle (James) Selsor, Christopher (Rebecca) Mott, and the late Dennis R. Mott; cherished grandmother of Melanie, Jeremy, Matthew, Tyler, Dylan, and Mia; dear sister of Ronald (Joan) Sokolowski; loved aunt, cousin, and friend of many. Dolores retired from The South Suburban Council in Hazel Crest, IL where she was an Administrative Assistant. She was a Eucharistic Minister and C.C.W. member at St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox, IL, as well as a member of the Red Hat Society. Dolores will be missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 3pm – 8pm. Funeral services Thursday, May 25, 2023, with prayers at the funeral home at 10:30am to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox, IL for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. Interment Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Glenwood, IL.
