Dolores "Dee" Buckner

Dolores “Dee” Buckner, age 83 a resident of New Lenox, formerly of Frankfort and Chicago, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at her home with her family by her side. Loving wife of James “Jim” Buckner, Sr.; beloved mother of Laurie (John) Pasko and James “Jim” (Sabrina) Buckner, Jr.; dearest sister of Vicky Walsh, Elly (late Dick) Twietmeyer and the late Victor Nelson; cherished grandmother of Joshua (Lindsey) Pasko, Ryan Pasko, Craig Buckner, Nicholas Buckner, and Andrew Buckner; fond aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Dee was a member of many crafting clubs, she enjoyed oil painting, ceramics, quilting, knitting, and gardening. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox IL 60451 on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM with a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Lightways Hospice would be appreciated.
