Donald F. Koch

Donald F. Koch, age 86, formerly of Orland Park, IL. Passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 in Mokena, IL. Survived by his loving wife, LaVerne Koch (Strelecky) of 63 years. Devoted father of Denise (Khair) Rabatah, Karen (Daniel) Horn, Jeffrey (Martha) Koch, Jerome (Phyllis) Koch, and Janice (Craig) Dwyer; cherished grandfather of Caroline Horn, Catherine (Matthew) McGuire, Zach Rabatah, Norah Rabatah, Marie Koch, Kaley Dwyer, and Keira Dwyer; dear brother of Edward Koch. Donald was a United States Army Veteran. He obtained his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree. He worked at Nabisco for 37 years, holding numerous positions, starting as an oiler, and finished as an Area Manager. Donald was an excellent cook and avid fisherman, along with being a devout Catholic and an amazing husband and father. The family will receive friends at St. Mary Catholic Church, 19515 115th Ave, Mokena, IL 60448 on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM.
