DONALD K. HELLER SR.

Age 93, of Orland Park, passed away on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023 at Smith Crossing in Orland Park.

Donald is survived by his loving family, children, Keith (Maxine) Heller Jr., Kevin (Laura) Heller, Beth (Bill) Crittendon, step-children, Debbie Deems, Rob Goffin, grandchildren, Nathan Heller, Zack Heller, Delaney Heller, Allyson (fiancée Alec Lester) Heller, Hannah Heller, Jacob Heller, Kayla (fiancée Tyler Lindgren) Crittendon, Kelsey Crittendon and Carson Crittendon.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, John & Alice Heller (Palm), wife, Ann Heller, son, Bryan Heller and brother Jack Heller.

Donald was a United States Army Veteran who served his country during the Korean War. He retired from American National Can Company in Chicago after 40 years of service and greatly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing golf and experiencing the Chicago Cubs win the world series. Donald will always be remembered as stating, “old soldiers never die, we just fade away.”

Services and interment for Donald will be private.
