Dorotha W. Bratcher

Dorotha W. Bratcher, age 88, of Homer Glen formerly of Lombard, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Dorotha was born January 19, 1930 in Trenton, TN, Dorotha was the matriarch of a large family and business. She was a successful owner of twelve Midas Auto Repair Shops. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She is survived by her loving family; four children, Cheryl (James) Allen of Manhattan, IL, Donna (Mike) Teal of Martin, TN, Robert (Judi) Bratcher of Lockport, IL, and Walter (Tracy) Bratcher of Mokena, IL; daughter-in-law Bonnie Bratcher of Manhattan, IL; son-in-law Ralph McCraken of NV; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Dorortha was preceded in death by her husband James Bratcher, her parents Wade and Susie (Bishop) Cook; son James and a daughter Deborah McCracken. Visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 3 until 9 p.m Funeral Services Thursday December 20, 2018 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
