Earl A. Miller

Earl A. Miller, age 89, a longtime resident of Frankfort, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox. Loving husband of the late Cynthia A. Miller; beloved father of Earl M. (Cheri) Miller, Nadine Gingerich, Andrea Swanson, and Claudia Vilillo; dearest brother of the late Donald (late Marie) Miller and the late Jeanette (late Alec) Commander; cherished grandfather of Michael Miller, Katherine (Marc) Wolf, Matthew Miller, Charlie (Afton) Swanson, Kaile (Christopher) Anderson, Tristan (Gretchen) Gingerich, Brean (Shawn) Epp, Theran (Karli) Gingerich and Caylan Gingerich; proud great grandfather of Paisley, Jack, Emmitt, Ethan, Logan, Liana, Matthew, Anika, Nathan, Henry, Eleanor and Audrey. Earl was a loving uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Earl was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in the Korean Conflict. He worked as an electrical engineer for Picker Xray in Chicago. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Frankfort, a member of the Will County Beekeepers Association, Frankfort Lions Club, the Mason’s, and the American Legion. A memorial visitation will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort IL 60423 on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Memorial mass will be held at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be held privately at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Lions Club would be appreciated.
