76 of New Lenox passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at his home. Edward was born in Chicago, IL to the late Albert and Irene Czerwinski. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (nee Sherwood) Czerwinski; loving father of Kerry (Matt) Carey, Steven (Kimberly) Czerwinski, and Jon Czerwinski; cherished Dziadzia of Ben and Katie Carey, Sloane Czerwinski, Amelia and Henry Czerwinski; dear brother of Christine Bana; loved uncle, cousin, and friend. Ed received his B.A. in English from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO. He was Editor of the Star Newspaper for many years before eventually becoming the Webmaster. Ed enjoyed reading, spending time with family, playing cards with friends, and a good drink. In lieu of flowers memorials in Ed’s name to Culver-Stockton College would be appreciated. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial, New Lenox on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 4:00pm until time of service at 6:00pm. Interment will be private.
