Edward J. Kane
Age 72, of Mokena for 21 years formerly of Dolton, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011. He is survived by his loving family; wife Rosemary (nee Stankiewicz) Kane; son Mark (Beth) Kane; daughters Lisa (Chuck) Gilmore and Dawn (Kevin) Nelligan; grandchildren Sean, Kelly, Joel, Tyler, Dakota, Connor and Ryan. Edward was a member of Local 399 operating engineer and worked for Container Corp. of America/Chicago Paper Board. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Monday, January 2, 2012 from 2 - 9pm. Funeral prayers on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 9:15am in the funeral home chapel leaving for St. Mary Church, Mokena for a 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Orland Park. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Special Olympics would be appreciated.
