EDWARD J. OLBRECHT, JR.

Age 72, of Mokena, passed away Thursday, December 6th, 2018.

Edward is survived by his loving family, daughters, Gina Kratz, Kari Olbrecht, mother, Julie Olbrecht, silbings, Ted Olbrecht, Ken Olbrecht, grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Keira and Joshua.

Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Olbrecht (Sartorio).

Edward was a United States Air Force Veteran and was a retired Chicago Police Department Detective.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Friday, December 14th, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral service, Saturday, December 15th, 2018 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:15 AM then to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 15050 Wolf Road, Orland Park, IL 60467 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.
