EDWARD J. PIUS

Age 100, of Lockport passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Edward is survived by his loving family, son, Jerry Pius, seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, John & Sofie Pius (Gara), first wife, Inez Pius (DeToffel), second wife, Audry Pius (Unger), daughter, Jeanne Pius, daughter-in-law Marylynn Pius and seven siblings.

Edward was a long time member of Christ United Methodist Church in Lockport and a member of the Ironworkers Local #444 in Joliet.

Family will receive friends at Christ United Methodist Church, 224 Bruce Road, Lockport, IL 60441 on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 4:00 PM until time of funeral service at 7:00 PM. Interment, Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Elmhurst Cemetery, 1212 East Washington Street, Joliet IL 60433.
