EDWARD S. LEVON

Age 72, of New Lenox, passed away Thursday, February 28th, 2019 at Rosewood Care Center of East Peoria.

Edward is survived by his loving family, daughter, Jennifer (Kyle) Mauerman, grandchildren, Grace Mauerman, Maddison Mauerman, siblings, Rick Levon, Joel Levon and serval nieces and nephews.

Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Levon (Hansen), parents, John & Jennie Levon and brother, John Levon, Jr.

Edward was a United States Army Veteran who served during Vietnam; he was a retired police officer and correctional officer and greatly enjoyed attending breakfast meetings with his AA Group for more than 31 years.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, March 7th, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Friday, March 8th, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
