EDWARD V. HEINISCH
Age 85, of Lockport, passed away Sunday, October 21st, 2012 at Senior Star Living in Romeoville.
Edward is survived by his loving family, wife, Lois Heinisch (nee Reding), children, Barb (Bill) Schuld, Lindy Maree, Ed (Annette) Heinisch, Joe (Donita) Heinisch, grandchildren, Kelly (Jim) Thompson, Jeanne (Bill) Pritchard, Amy Allen, Julie (Kyle) Edwards, Kim (Adam) Edison, Billy (Diane) Schuld, Rob (Rachel) Maree, Trevor (Angela) Heinisch, Weston Heinisch, Allison Heinisch, Gina (Steve) Strope, Christina Motyka, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Louise Heinisch (nee Scheck) and a sister Pauline Blanton.
Edward was a United States Army Veteran who served during WWII and a member of the VFW. He was a former member of the Flames Baseball Team and retired from HP Smith Paper Company in Chicago after 36 years of service.
Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441 Tuesday, October 23rd, 2012 from 3 to 8 PM. Funeral service, Wednesday, October 24th, 2012 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 529 Madison Street, Lockport, IL 60441 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
