Eileen A. Coit (nee O’Malley)

Age 77, a 37-year resident of New Lenox, formerly of Oak Forest, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at her home with her family by her side. Eileen was born in Chicago to the late Edward J. and Mary E. (nee Moloney) O’Malley. Beloved wife of the late Robert F. Coit; loving mother Sheila (Edward) Rusen, Colleen (John) Herrera, the late Bobby Coit, Maureen (Sean) Kelly, Brian Coit and Timothy (Rikki) Coit; cherished grandmother of Courtney, Christopher, Kiley, Kelsey, Caitie, Austin, Layne, Juliette, Ava, Sammi, and Emersyn; dear sister of the late Edward O’Malley, the late Mary (late Jack) Figel, the late Robert (late Margaret) O’Malley, and Bernadette (Dale) Elenteny; loved Aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Eileen and her husband Co-Owned White Hen Pantries in Orland Park, IL and Oak Lawn, IL. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox. Eileen will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A Funeral Mass for Eileen will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 11:00am.
