Elaine Frances Malito

Elaine Frances Malito nee Gilmore, 92 of Tinley Park, formerly Matteson passed away peacefully at home on March 16, 2018. She is survived by her loving family, children: Susan (Robert) Janecek, Robert (Barbara) Malito, Michael (Linda) Malito, Diane (David) Winkler, ten grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter J. Malito in 2011, after 67 years of marriage. Elaine was born and raised in Chicago, youngest of five children to James and Mary Jane Gilmore. She graduated from Mercy High School in 1943 before marrying and moving to Matteson. Elaine worked as a secretary at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church for many years, beginning when the parish first opened. Visitation will be held on Mon., March 19th from 9:00 a.m. until time of prayers at 11:30 a.m. at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL. Funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m. at St. Lawrence O'Toole Catholic Church, 4101 St. Lawrence Ave. Matteson, IL 60443. Private Committal at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip.
