Age 91, of Orland Park, passed away Friday, September 1st, 2017 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice House in Joliet.

Eleanor is survived by her loving family, children, Dan (Karen) Schroeder, Donna Smith, David Schroeder, Diane Dingles, Denis (Patti) Schroeder, Dean (Denise) Schroeder, Debra (John) Kuypers, grandchildren, Jill (Jeff), Beth (Rob), Brian (Jenny), Jason (Terri), Mark (Lauren), Kaitlyn, Christopher, John, Trish, Bob, Jessica (Ben), Melissa, Nicholas (Mary), Kristin (Luke), Ken and 18 great grandchildren.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Barbara West (Auterman) husband, Henry Schroeder, siblings, Barbara West, Florence (Bob) Berk, son-in-law, John Dingles and grandchildren, Meghan and Christopher.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Monday, September 4th, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Tuesday, September 5th, 2017 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Mary Catholic Church, 19515 115th Avenue, Mokena, IL 60448 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.
