Elnita "Boots" Victoria Siekman

Elnita “Boots” Victoria Siekman, 78, of Homer Glen, passed away Sept. 18, 2024. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Randall “Randy” Siekman. Daughters: Christine (John) Ghilardi of Tinley Park, Lisa Captain of Homer Glen, Melissa (Thomas Bennett) Bennett of Joliet and Debra Lynn (Michael) Martinka. Grandchildren: Ryan (Lauren) Cunningham, Allison (Brian) Chrzanowski, Jessica (Doug) Will, Nicholas (Nicole) Ghilardi, Joshua Capitan, Jacob, Lexi Bennett, Vanessa, Rachel Martinka. Great-grandchildren: Maisie, Rory Cunningham, Easton, Summer Chrzanowski, and Lucas Will. Sister, Polly (late Gary) Paryz. Boots was born to Pauline and A.G. Cholipski on Feb. 14, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Evergreen Park High School and worked as cashier and buyer at several grocery stores for most of her career. Always talented and creative she enjoyed collecting dolls, tea cups from around the world, and baking, especially Christmas cookies with her grandchildren. Married in 1980, Boots and Randy enjoyed traveling in their younger years. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she loved her Cockatiels. Visitation will be held on Tues., Sept. 24, from 3:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 and on Wed., Sept 25, from 10:00 a.m. – time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 6201 Vollmer Rd. Matteson, IL 60643. Interment at St. Paul Cemetery following. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
