Age 18, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. Beloved son of Gary and Valerie Zielinski (Fode); loving brother of Ryan D. (Bianca) Jennings, Andrea N. (Luke Scalone) Zielinski, and Rachel E. (Jordan MacQueen) Zielinski; cherished boyfriend of Emma Bell; dear grandson of Richard and Suellen Gomulka, Eileen and Ronald Fode, Donald and Charlene Jennings; treasured godfather of River Marie Jennings; also survived by numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Eric was preceded in death by his grandfather Richard Zielinski. He graduated from Lincoln Way West Class of 2018 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Eric enjoyed various sports, fishing, and outdoor activities. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, godfather and friend to many who will be deeply missed and never forgotten. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 3-9 PM.
