84, of Elwood formerly of New Lenox, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, Joliet. Ernie was born in Marseilles, IL to the late Ernest W. and Alberta M. (nee Denelli) Falk. Beloved husband of Janet L. (nee Fox); loving father of the late Ernest H. Falk, Susan A. (James) Fabris, and Lea Rae (Gary) Marcolina; cherished Pop Pops of Shae (Will) Ruiz, Shauna Jandeska, Austin and Mason Marcolina; great grandfather of two; dear brother of Terry (Beverly) Falk and the late Beverly (late Carl) Megal; loved uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Ernie was a retired machinist from Triumph Machine Co. and a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 9:30am until time of funeral service at 10:00am. Interment will be private.
