Age 99, formerly of Chicago, Crete and Frankfort, passed away on Wednesday, January 4th, 2023 at Plymouth Place in LaGrange.
Esther is survived by her loving family, children, Ronald (Marsha) Marsiglio, Lynn (Mark) Yanke, Linda (Michael) Brncick, sister, Irene Koury, grandchildren, Mark (Cindi) Marsiglio, Lisa (Jason) Leake, Neil (Lyndal) Yanke, Adam (Rupel) Yanke, Greg Brncick, Alison (Mark) Riegel, great grandchildren, Grace, Wyatt, Sydney, Sienna, Maya, Lakshmi, Lindsay, Julianna, Wesley, Cameron and numerous nieces and nephews.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Bernice Janisiewicz (Panfil), beloved husband, Louis Marsiglio, siblings, Virginia (late Walter) Szablewski, Aniela (late Joseph) Pisarski, Edwin (late Lottie) Zwierzynski, Stanley (late Sally) Panfil, Clara Janisiewicz, Ceclia (late Eugene) Kobza and Adeline (late Guido) Alliod.
Esther was a member of St. Anthony Church in Frankfort and greatly enjoyed traveling with her husband Louis, cooking for her family and playing games. She was well known for her famous crepes and most of all loved spending time with her family.
Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Sunday, January 8th, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral service, Monday, January 9th 2023 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip IL. Donations in Esther’s name may be made to the charity of your choice.
