Age 93, of Plainfield passed away Saturday, February 11th, 2017 at Symphony of Joliet in Joliet.

Ethel is survived by her loving family, daughter, Patricia Esgar, granddaughter, Corryn (Curtis) Sineath, one great grandchild on the way and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, Paul & Sarah Gaenzle (Fasig), husband, William Esgar and 11 siblings.

Ethel was a member of Homer Congregational Church in Homer Glen for many years; where she greatly enjoyed greeting people at church on Sunday mornings.

Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441 on Friday, February 17th, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Saturday, February 18th, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Joliet, IL.
