Eugenia "Jeanne" Sopcak (nee Zbylut)
Age 81, of New Lenox, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 at her home. She was born in Chicago to the late Sylvester and Frances (nee Mical) Zbylut. Beloved wife of the late Ralph A. Sopcak; Loving mother of Lynnmarie (Walter) Finn and Sharon (Jim) Phelan; Cherished grandmother of Kimberly, Karen, Bill, Amanda, Alexandra and great grandmother of Kendall; Dear sister of Vernon (Judy) Zbylut. Jeanne was a retired school nurse from the Oak Lawn/ Hometown School District. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, Friday, October 4th, 2013 from 3 - 9PM. Funeral Service, Saturday, October 5, 2013 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30AM, then to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Interment, S.S. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery, Joliet.
