Age 100 of New Lenox passed away Friday, April 5^th, 2024.   

Flora is survived by her loving family, children, Bruce (Donguha Liu) Brown, Debra Price, Cindy (Paul) Miller, Greg (Karen) Brown, daughter in-law, Dorothy Brown, grandchildren, Christopher (Sharon) Brown, Chandra (Carl) Dalton, Wendy (Chris) Karger, A.J. (Judson Lester) Price, Jennifer Weber, Kendra (Jim) DeFrank, Bret Weber, Rebecca (David Stalla) Miller, Amy (Mike Apostolou) Miller, Christian Miller, Katie Brown, Karli Brown, Max Battles, great grandchildren, Grayson, Wesley, J.J., Taylor, Skyler, Bryan, Kiara, Destiny, Kenneth, Penny, Cameron, Brynn, Connor, Brielle, great great grandchildren, Atlas, Luna, Miles, Hudson and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Flora was preceded in death by her parents, Homer & Elizabeth Wormley (Jenkins), first husband, Kenneth E. Brown, second husband, Patrick C. Gallagher, siblings, Lyle Wormley, Lyman “Barney” Wormley, LaVerta “Irene” Blalock, Robert Wormley, Betty Brown, David Wormley and son in-law Jeffrey Price.

Flora was a WWII United States Army Veteran who served at Fort Sam Houston TX as an Army WAC.  She greatly enjoyed family, dancing, decorating and gardening.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, April 11^th, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  Funeral service, Friday, April 12^th, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.   Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Honor Flight Chicago or Lightways Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
