FLORENCE M. CORT-KACZMARSKI

Age 82, of Mokena, passed away on Friday, November 8th, 2024 at Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital in Palos Heights. 

Florence is survived by her loving family, sister, Angie (Anthony) Czyz, nieces and nephew, Cindy (Doug) Gerritsen, Debbie (late Dave) Phillips, Mary Kay (Don) Gardiner, Dennis Cort, great nieces and nephews, Greg (Caroline) Gerritsen, Andy Gerritsen, Meagan Hamilton, Melissa (Alex) Horodysky, Meredith Gardiner, McKenzie Gardiner, Mia Gardiner, great great nieces and nephews, Paeyton, Mason, Josephine, Dominic, Hunter and Parker.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents, Secondo & Mary Cort (Montella), husband, Richard Kaczmarski and brother Vincent “Jimmy” Cort. 

Florence retired from AT&T in 1993 after 30 plus years of service and was an avid Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame fan.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, November 16th, 2024 from 10:00 AM until time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Interment, Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
