Frances Meta Tilsy (nee White)
87, of Ashton, IL formerly of Mokena, IL passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at home. Frances was born in Chicago to the late Errol C. and Meta (nee Weith) White. Beloved wife of the late James E. Tilsy; loving mother of Thomas Tilsy, Sharon Griffin (Larry Sprengel), David (Kathy) Tilsy, Mark (Cindy) Tilsy and Mary (Marvin) Crider; Cherished grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 12; dear sister of James White, Priscilla Ashley, the late Paul White, the late Joe White and the late Esther Schoenradt; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Frances was a member of Marley Community Church, Mokena. She was a member of the Will County Farm Bureau Women's Club the Gleaners, and a volunteer at Silver Cross Hospital for many years. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, on Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 3-6 PM. Funeral Service Monday, August 17, 2015 at Marley Community Church, Mokena with visitation at 10:30 AM until time of service at 11:00AM. Interment Brooks Cemetery, Homer Glen.
