GALEN L. SCHUMACHER

Age 64, of New Lenox, passed away on Saturday, April 30th, 2016 at his home in New Lenox.

Galen is survived by his loving family, wife, Karen Schumacher (Bannerman), children, Ondrea (Kurt) Bey, Jake (Tracy) Schumacher, siblings, Sue (John) Detrick, Gary (Lynn) Schumacher, Mark (Debbi) Schumacher, Rick (Lisa) Schumacher, Harold (Dawnn) Schumacher, sister-in-law, Kathy (Harry) Combs, grandchildren, Charlie, Angel, Galen, Nina, Chrissy, numerous nieces and nephews and beloved pet Sadie.

Galen was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Twila Schumacher (Hawkins), step mother, Irene Schumacher and brother, Ron Schumacher.

Galen was a United States Air Force Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, photography, collecting coins and music.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Monday, May 2nd, 2016 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Tuesday, May 3rd, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Mount Vernon Estates, Lemont, IL.
