Gary L. Black age 65, of New Lenox IL formerly of Canton IL born and raised in Macomb IL, passed away on January 1, 2015. Loving husband of Therese Black (Nee Henseler); beloved father of Craig (Nicole) Black, Kevin Black and Rachel (Rob) Bogart; dearest brother of Allen (Paula) Black and Jamie (Ralph) Stone; cherished grandfather of Isabel Bogart, Collin Black, Ava Bogart, Elyse Black, Claire Bogart and Leah Black; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, member of American Legion Post #1977 in New Lenox, Knights of Columbus and TTM both at St. Jude Church. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 4-8PM. Funeral Mass Monday, January 5, 2015 at St. Jude Church for an 10:30AM Mass of Christian Burial.
