GEORGE “EDWARD’ ASHLEY
Age 41, of Manhattan, passed away on Wednesday, August 21st, 2019 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.
Edward is survived by his loving family, father, George F. Ashley, siblings, Ami (Paul) Workman, Laura Ashley, Andrew (Soonae) Ashley, Gwendolyn Ashley, nephew, Alex Ashley, aunts and uncles, Marnean Briese, Gladys Stuart, Richard Ashley, David Ashley and numerous cousins.
Edward was preceded in death by his mother, Lois D. Ashley (Dau).
Edward was a United States Air Force Veteran; employed by Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka as a Lab Technician and an avid fisherman.
Family will receive friends at Trinity Lutheran Church, 508 N. Cedar Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Monday, August 26th, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Interment, Wednesday, August 28th, 2019 at 12:30 PM at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL 60421. Please arrive to the cemetery by 12:15 PM.
