George J. Matusak

79, of Tinley Park, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020 at his home surrounded by family. George was born in Chicago to the late Michael and Anna (nee Beletskie) Matusak. Beloved husband of Mary Ann (nee Zylo); loving father of Katrina Errant, Theresa (Joseph) Pettinato, Michael (Jennifer Smith) Matusak, Jennifer (late Anthony) Mocherek-Volante and Christopher (Christina) Matusak; cherished grandfather of Zachary, Danielle, and Nicholas Clifford, Tessa Errant, Franco and Marco Pettinato, Brandon Matusak, Alexander, Nikolai, and Julianna Matusak; dear brother of the late Dennis Matusak, the late Michael (Janet) Matusak, and Suzanne (Daniel) Musielak. George was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He owned and worked his whole career at Ashland Linoleum and Tile. He loved fishing, gardening, playing cards, and going to the casino. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A private family service will be held with interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
