74, of Diamond formerly of New Lenox, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017. Gerald was born in Blue Island to the late Howard and Martha (nee Petrusak) Sidenstick. Beloved husband of Kathy (nee Buis); loving father of the late Geri Lynn, and Vicki Lynn (Edward) Cantwell; cherished grandfather of Carolynn (Michael) Nowak, Paul (Ashley) Kratochvil, Ryan (fiancée Elizabeth Lenz) Cantwell, Rebecca Lynn (Edward) Cochran, and Renee Kratochvil; and 3 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Gerald's Name to the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research would be appreciated. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 1:00 PM until time of Funeral Service at 5:00 PM. Interment private
