Glen E. Skonicki
47, of New Lenox formerly of Hazel Crest, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 1, 2019. Loving husband of Kathrynne M. Skonicki (Braun); beloved father of Angela, Kathrynne and David Skonicki; dearest son of the late David and Christine (Zebrowski) Skonicki; cherished brother of the late Paula Skonicki and Timothy Skonicki; dear brother-in-law of Jennifer (Michael) Denton, Lynn Braun, John Braun, late Fred (late Hellen) Braun and Valerie (Neal Zokan) Braun; fond uncle of Timothy Skonicki, Sandra (Nick) Sturgeon, Christina, Michael, and Ashley Denton and Cameron and Cameree Braun; also survived by several cousins. Glen was a Super Fan of his kids’ sports, a coach for the New Lenox Park District Basketball, and passionate Chicago Bears and NASCAR fan. He was always willing to help others. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Friday, June 7, 2019 from 3- 8pm. Funeral service on Saturday, June 8, 2019 prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:30am leaving for St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox for a 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City.
