82, late of New Lenox, passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 15, 2015. Glenn was born in Joliet to the late Roy A. and Hazel (nee Hoffmeyer) Trost. Beloved husband of Kathryn "Kay" (nee Mancuso); loving father of Elaine (Andrew) Honiotes, Mark (Kris), Charles (Heather), and William (Erin); cherished grandfather of Edward (Jessica) Trost, Lee Trost, Emmet Trost, Liam Trost and Luca Trost, and Josslyn, Bryce, Trent and Kylee; dear brother of the late Betty M. (James) Fagan and the late Leonard R. (Elizabeth "Ann") Trost; brother-in-law of Mike (Lil) Mancuso; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Glenn was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. He retired from Material Service in Lockport after 44 years of service. He was also the Owner/Operator of G.E. Trost Trucking for 10 years. In lieu of flowers memorials in Glenn's name to Providence Catholic High School or Wounded Warrior Project would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 2 - 8PM. Funeral service Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 10:30AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
